Refund & Cancellation Policy

How deposits, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work across Ejen Studio LLC's studio engagements and subscription platform.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all paid services purchased from Ejen Studio LLC — both bespoke studio engagements and subscriptions to the Platform of marketing and generative AI tools. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and the specific quote, invoice, or plan for your purchase.

2. Studio engagements — deposits

Most studio engagements require a deposit before work begins. The deposit reserves your place in the Company's schedule and funds initial discovery and setup work.

Because the deposit covers work and capacity that cannot be recovered, it is non-refundable once a project is booked, except where the Company has not yet started any work and agrees in writing to a refund.

3. Studio engagements — cancellation before delivery

You may cancel an engagement at any time by writing to us. If you cancel after work has started, you remain responsible for payment covering all work completed up to the cancellation date, plus any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (for example, stock media, paid plugins, or licenses).

If the amount you have paid exceeds the value of work completed and costs incurred, the difference will be refunded to you. If it is less, the balance is invoiced and payable.

4. Studio engagements — cancellation by the Company

If the Company cannot complete an engagement — for example, due to circumstances beyond our control — we will notify you and refund any amounts you have paid for work not yet performed.

5. Studio engagements — completed and delivered work

Creative services are custom and made to order. Once work has been delivered and accepted, or once the review window stated for your project has passed without a substantive issue being raised, fees for that work are non-refundable.

If a delivered item does not match the agreed brief, contact us within the review window and we will correct it within the agreed scope at no extra charge.

6. Platform subscriptions — cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a Platform subscription at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the subscription from renewing; it does not, by itself, trigger a refund of the current billing period.

When you cancel, you keep access to the paid tools until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, the subscription ends and access stops.

Subscription fees are charged for access to the tools during each billing period and are generally non-refundable once a period has begun, including for partial use. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time in a monthly plan.

For annual plans, if you cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase and have made only minimal use of the Platform, you may request a refund of that initial payment; after 14 days, annual plans follow the standard non-refundable rule for the current term but will not renew once cancelled.

If a trial or promotional period applies, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled beforehand. Cancelling during the trial avoids the charge.

If we materially fail to provide the Platform, or if a charge was made in error, contact us — we will review the situation and, where appropriate, issue a credit or refund.

If a subscription payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until it is settled; an unpaid subscription may be cancelled.

7. How to request a refund

Send a written request to ejenishere@gmail.com with your name, the invoice, quote, or subscription reference, and the reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 5 business days and to resolve them within 14 business days.

8. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Card refunds are processed through the original payment provider and may take additional time to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Refunds are made in the original currency of the invoice or subscription. The Company is not responsible for exchange-rate differences or bank fees applied on your side.

9. Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly — this is almost always faster than a formal dispute. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and may result in suspension of related services or accounts.
